Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Persefire ("Persefire," "we," "us," or "our"), a link-in-bio platform that includes short links, bio pages, click analytics, QR code generation, and team workspaces. By accessing or using Persefire, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Persefire. By creating an account you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Service status

Persefire is currently offered in private beta. Features, availability, and pricing may change as the platform evolves. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Persefire to:

• Distribute malware, phishing links, or content that violates the law.
• Send spam or engage in unsolicited bulk messaging.
• Infringe on intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts.
• Resell, rebrand, or redistribute the service without written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create through Persefire (links, bio pages, uploaded media). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate Persefire.

You are solely responsible for your content and for any consequences arising from it.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Persefire offers paid subscription plans. When billing is active, fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. In the event we permanently discontinue the service, we will provide pro-rated refunds for any unused prepaid subscription period.

Payment processing is handled by a third-party provider, and your billing details are subject to that provider's own terms.

6. Termination

You may stop using Persefire at any time and delete your account from the dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we are required to by law. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Persefire is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Password-protected links and bio page content are a convenience feature, not a security guarantee. We implement industry-standard protections — hashed passwords and rate-limited verification — but make no warranty that protected content cannot be accessed by unauthorized parties. You are responsible for the sensitivity of any content you choose to protect and should not rely solely on Persefire's password feature to secure highly sensitive information.

Transactional emails (account notifications, password resets, waitlist confirmations) are delivered through a third-party mail provider. We cannot guarantee delivery, as factors outside our control — including spam filters, ISP policies, and recipient mail server behavior — may prevent or delay delivery. Failure to receive a transactional email is not grounds for a claim against Persefire.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Persefire and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to Persefire shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Persefire and its operators, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of Persefire; (b) any content, links, or bio pages you create or share through the service; (c) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; or (d) any claim that your content infringes or misappropriates the rights of a third party.

10. Third-party content and links

Short links you create through Persefire redirect visitors to websites operated by third parties. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party website or its content, privacy practices, or availability. We are not liable for any harm arising from a visitor accessing a third-party website through a Persefire link. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any link you shorten or share complies with applicable law and does not redirect to malicious, deceptive, or illegal content.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where the changes are material, notify you. Continued use of Persefire after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
